Women are interested in belly dance for a variety of reasons – the wonderful and elaborate costumes, a natural female form of exercise, fun and artistic stress release, connection and companionship with like-minded women, opportunities to perform new skills and challenge the status quo. Belly Dance classes and workshops are offered throughout the city of Regina. The experience level of students range from "have no idea what I'm getting into" to seasoned veterans who have danced for years. The classes cover basic belly dance moves & technique, isolations, history, costuming, and offer a great social activity for all. As experience increases students will begin to incorporate props such as zills, candles, swords, canes, and veils into their dancing.

Many Middle Eastern Dance workshops and training opportunities are offered throughout Canada year round. RAMED sponsors members to attend many of these workshops and encourages all of the members to attend. Years of experience, wisdom, and love of the dance are shared by the workshop facilitators. The workshops are not just for the polished performer but are designed for all dancers to enjoy and, as any dancer who has attended a workshop will agree, they are inspirational, energetic, and a hip dropping good time!
